Former Lynx Brenen Thompson commits to Oklahoma after entering the NCAA transfer portal

Brenen Thompson announced this week he will be transferring from the University of Texas to play football at the University of Oklahoma. Thompson was a standout Lynx football player and received over 35 offers to play Division I football.

During his year at UT, Thompson played in nine games and caught one 32-yard pass. He also trained this Spring with the UT Track program, elevating him as a rare two-sport athlete.

Thompson said on his decision to transfer from Austin to Norman “It’s home, it feels like me. I am able to live and play ball how I want to.”
