Perryton Tornado classified as an EF3 by National Weather Service

The Amarillo National Weather Service has assigned The Perryton tornado in Ochiltree County from Thursday a preliminary damage rating of EF3. Please note the path shows the estimated centerline of the tornado - damage did occur in areas beyond this line. According to ANWS the tornado began at 5:06 pm and ended at 5:17 pm and the path length was 6.39 miles with a width of 1/2 mile.
