Spearman Swimmers Compete at District

On July 21st 5 members of the Spearman Stingrays Swim Club travelled to Lenexa Ks to compete in the Missouri Valley District Meet. Those swimmers included Oaklee Womble, Acey Womble, Marlow Roberts, Avery Frost, and Kambrea Ooley.

All of the swimmers did an amazing job and all of them set new personal bests times. Kambrea found herself on the winner’s podium with a silver medal in the 100m Breaststroke and a 1st place in the Medley Relay with her relay team. Kambrea’s times were even fast enough to advance her to the Missouri Valley Championships meet in Topeka KS the next weekend. While in Topeks Kambrea placed 3rd in the 100m Breaststroke, 3rd in the Medley Relay, 4th in the Freestyle Relay, and 6th in the 50m Breaststroke.

We are so incredibly proud of all the Stingrays this year and are excited for the bright future ahead.
