Teresa Ann Mendoza, 57, of Waka

Teresa Ann Mendoza, 57, of Waka, Texas passed away on October 24,2023. Family visitation will be on Friday, October 27, 2023 from (4:00p.m.-6:00: p.m.)at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Spearman. Services will be on Friday at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Spearman, 6:30, with Rev. Philip Hudson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.

Teresa Ann was born on September 25, 1966 in Perryton, Texas to Jimmy and Helen Trujillo Blan. She was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Spearman. She was very ornery and what a prankster. She was very firm in her faith. She loved her grandchildren very much and was full of life and a very kind person.

She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Jimmy Blan Sr. and Jimmy Blan Jr.

She is survived by her two sons, Steven and wife Jarah Mendoza of Amarillo, Stetson and wife Abigail Mendoza of Amarillo and daughter, Stephanie Mendoza and significant other, Austin of Spearman. Grandchildren, Kasyn Mendoza, Austyn Mendoza, Aubrey Mendoza, Adalyn Mendoza, Kynah Mendoza and Ryla Mendoza. Teresa is also survived by sisters, Amy Barnes and spouse, Patsy Jones and spouse, also brothers, Jerold Blan and spouse, Jermey Blan and spouse, numerous nieces and nephews. Teresa is also survived by Gilbert Mendoza, whom she was married to for 25 years.
