Spearman School Board Special Meeting

by Suzanne Bellsnyder, Editor

The Spearman School Board met in a Special meeting this past Saturday at 7 am following a playoff football game night to discuss the job duties of the Superintendent around a code of conduct issue as was stated in their agenda. This meeting follows a meeting held last Monday, Nov 6th, where they received a report from the Superintendent regarding an investigation into a campus administrator’s alleged conduct involving a possible student discipline matter.

The Board met until almost 10 am Saturday morning and then adjourned the meeting after making a motion to allow the school board president, which is Mark Garnett, to meet with the district legal counsel to discuss the superintendent’s employee contract. That motion passed but was opposed by board members Sam Wilkerson and Michael Lusby.
