Filing period opens for Spearman City and School Board Elections to be held on May 5, 2024

City of Spearman

The city of Spearman has three positions up on the May municipal ballot, the one position for Mayor and two alderman positions. Tobe Shields is currently the Mayor and the two positions up for election are held by incumbents Jackie Pearson and Don Schroeder. If you are interested in running for Mayor or City Council, Board application packets are available for pick up at City Hall from Cheryl.

Spearman ISD

Spearman ISD will have two school board trustee positions up on the May ballot. The seats up for re-election are currently held by incumbents Michael Lusby and Mike Pearson. If you are interested in running for Spearman School board, Board Application Packets are available in the business office at the High School from Nora.

The filing period for Spearman city and school board positions opens January 17[th] and packets must be turned in by 5:00 PM on Feb 16th.

The Filing period for Morse and Gruver School board is underway and Gruver City Council filing as well. We will the share information on those elections with you next week.
