Sally Ann Goodwin Desimone, 90, Spearman

Sally Ann Goodwin Desimone, 90, of Spearman passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2023. A funeral service was held on Monday, March 6, 2023 at the Spearman Church of Christ at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. John Scott officiating. Burial followed at Hansford Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.

Sally was born in Walters, OK. on May 18, 1932 to Cary G. Goodwin and Sarah Gladys Beavers Goodwin. Dan Desimone and Sally Goodwin were married on October 3, 1952 in Amarillo Texas. They were the owners of Berry Cleaners in Spearman. Sally loved the Lord and she was a proud and adoring “MeMa” to her many grandkids and great-grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband , Dan, 3 sisters, 2 brothers , 1 great-grandson and 1 great-great-grandson.

Sally is survived by, a son, Rick and wife (Lori) Desimone of Amarillo, TX., daughter, Denise Schumann of Amarillo, TX.; and bonus daughter, Marion and husband Dick Garabedian of Las Vegas NV. , sister, Kathryn King, of Amarillo and a brother. Glenn Goodwin of Mesa, AZ.. She is also survived by, 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
