Audra Estelle Sanders Terry, 43 of Parker, Colorado passed away on October 6, 2025.
Audra was born in Amarillo, Texas on March 29, 1982, to Linda Denise Stalcup and Phillip Rex Sanders. She attended elementary and junior high school in Spearman, Texas and graduated from high school in Hugoton, Kansas. Audra went on to attend Oklahoma State University, where she earned a degree in Business Management, graduating with honors in just three years. She was previously married to Bryan Terry and was a loving, devoted mother to her two children.
After college Audra lived in Austin, Texas before moving to and falling in love with Parker, Colorado where she worked in the mortgage industry for over 20 years.
Audra loved the mountains, hiking, and spending time outdoors with her children. She enjoyed traveling with family and friends and had a natural talent for art and interior design. Intelligent and passionate about her beliefs, Audra was always eager for long, philosophical conversations. She shared a deep appreciation for poetry and literature. Her home reflected her heart -- filled with family photos, heirlooms, and memories of the people and places she loved.
Audra is survived by her son, Hayden Samuel Terry, and daughter, Lyra Estelle Terry; father, Phil Sanders of Spearman; her mother, Linda Stalcup and step-father; Don Stalcup of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and grandmother, Patricia Hamilton of Spearman. She is also survived by her siblings, Suzanne Bellsnyder of Spearman, Sara Hardwick of Dallas, Phillip Sanders and wife Brittni, of Fayetteville, AR, Martin Sanders and wife Amanda, of Edmond, OK, and Jack Stalcup and wife Julie of Philadelphia, PA. Audra is survived by her nieces and nephews -- Madison Hardwick, Alexandra Bellsnyder, William, Henry, Luke, Juliet, Hutch, and Hixson Sanders -- each of whom held a special place in her heart, as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. Audra cared deeply about the people in her life, leaving behind lifelong friends and co-workers who all loved her and will miss her dearly. Audra was preceded in death by her grandparents, R.E. and Velma Sanders, and Jack Hamilton.
Private graveside memorial service to be held for family and close friends in Spearman, TX on Friday, October 17th at 2:00 pm at Hansford Cemetery.
A Colorado service will be held at a later date.
"She is not gone, she is just away. In the sunrise, in the wind, in the hearts of those who loved her, she lives on."
